A. 1. An extreme or irrational fear of an aversion to something.

1. Pediophobia- Fear of dolls
2. Achluophobia- Fear of darkness
3. Amnesiphobia- Fear of amnesia
4. Isolophobia- Fear of being alone
5. Pnigophobia or Pnigerophobia- Fear of choking of being smothered 
6. Thanatophobia or Thantophobia- Fear of death or dying

Pediophobia-I would take it up against a blank wall that is kinda gross and old and a picture of creepy dolls all together. Or have a person in a creepy dress holding a doll tilting her head and smiling creepy. 

Achluophobia-  a picture of some older person that is tall in a dark place that is really creepy. 

Chiraprophobia- someone that does not like being touched and having hands all over them in the photo.
Thanatophobia or Thantophobia- someone laying down on the ground with maybe blood on the concrete. 

Isolophobia- Fear of being alone. I would have someone in a room all alone or on a street with no one there . 


D. 4.- Some techniques I will use in my photo are probably for Pediophobia is simplicity and make sure the lighting was great with what I wanted in the picture like kinda darkened rustic. For Achluophobia I would do rule of thirds because I would want the photo to get the person in the photo but also see where they are but in the darkness, also having the lighting be good and have it be clear of what the phobia is and that you can see the person clearly. Chiratophobia I would need to get good lighting and have balance of the hands on each side and have the same amount and have the face see clearly and that the face is scared. Also I have 2 extra ones ones, For Thanatophobia or Thantophobia would need good lighting and the rule that I would use would be framing the body maybe have chalk around the body to frame it and it be at rule of thirds to show what happened on the side of the person. Also Isolophobia I would need good lighting and it to be clear that they are alone and the rule that I would use would be point of view maybe of the persons view or something else when I think of to take the picture but make the photo has good lighting and is clear.

PART 1



I liked this photo because its from a different perspective and is something that you don't see usually. Lava is really cool to and this is a tragedy or lava going over a greenery community, but also a really cool photo.


I really like this photo because it was during the Thanksgiving Day parade and the Silver Star Officers went there and performed in it and I watched them on the tv and it was really cool to see them and maybe I can sometime do that and perform on that.


I thought this photo was really cool. A fire retardant was dropped from the top of this hill and it looks like pink mist and is such a cool photo that is hard to capture and was caught at this time is really to get so it is unusual to get a photo of.

PART 2

The songs in 2018

I really liked XXXTENTACION album because he had really good songs. zone o my favorites was Changes and it was in the 100 best songs in 2018. It was ranked 94. Personally I think that should've ranked higher. I didn't start listening to him after he died which is kinda sad but I didn't really know him until after he died and what his music was. He has all types of music not just rap, but contemporary, and like sad music and other things.


Best Movie in 2018

I think the best movie of 2018 was Searching this movie was really intense. This movie had so many plot twists and made me on the edge of my seat. I really enjoyed it and was ranked one of the best movies and defininally was of my favorites.


I think the most important news story of the year of 2018 was when Prince Harry and his wife Megan  got married and she started to be apart of the royal family. There wedding was a huge deal and everyone was watching it. There whole kingdom was there to watch them go to the church to get married. I think this was the biggest story because it was most well known and everyone knows who the royal family is.

Most important person in 2018

I think the queen is the most important person because she is a really important person and was one of the first to become the queen and rule the kingdom. She is 92 years old and is still so bright and still lives today and loves everyone. She is also important because she is the oldest queen living at 92 years old and that is a really big accomplishment.

My Holiday

1. One thing that I did over break that I would remember is doing something for my birthday with my friends. We went to the escape room and we did person break. we got to the third room and ran out of time so we didn't escape. It was really fun though and it was one if the hardest ones to escape and we did really well. After that we went to pizza an d hung out at my house and it was really fun and went in the pool/ hot tub and it was really warm. they slept over and we stayed up pretty late and watched movies and watched what happened to Monday and it was really good.

2. My resolutions for 2019 are, to be really organized, stay on top of school, improve dance skills and do really well in solo for competitions. Also to have a good year and have a first good year of being in high school. Also my biggest goal is making silver stars for the high school team.

3. Im looking forward to dancing at comps and trying out for silver stars.

Final exam Extra Credit

1. A man was pushed by a panhandler trying to help him in front of the train and the train was just coming to get more people and the guy was trying to pull him self up but didn't have enough strength. The photographer was using his camera to alert the train with his flash hoping that they would stop but they didn't stop fast enough.
2.The photographer was trying to get the trains attention by flashing his camera but didn't get their attention and he ended snapping a picture of what was happening.
3. Yes and no. One no because he should've gone and helped him and he maybe would've survived. And Yes because he was trying to help with the flashing but it didn't.
4. No, because I think he could've helped him pull him self out instead of taking a picture and getting the trains attention because that is really hard to do.
5. Yes I do agree because it is good publicity and people need to know what happens on the subway and try to not let it happen again but I think he should've asked the family first before he pout it up to see if they were ok with it.
6.I think to a photographer it is important to capture these moments but as a person you should always help someone if its in danger especially if your just there to take a picture if there is no harm or death involved then I say go for it to take pictures but if there is then I would not take one.
7. I think a photographer should help anyone in danger or will not be safe after before they take out a camera they need to think first if its really necessary to take a picture.
8. A photojournalism should just take photos of what is happening in the situation. A photojournalism is not responsible for peoples actions they are just supposed to capture it.
9. I think the most important thing in response to this is that the photographer was wrong of this. I don't think the photographer should've took a picture of this and the case of this means someones life was taken which could've been solved if he had helped him. Also putting it up online was even worse because he is telling people that he saw it and didn't help very much to stop it.

Rhona was running a race for who can be the skinniest and be the fastest at it. She crossed the finish line but when she got there every one was gone.


Dave getting on a plane for Christmas to see family. He then realizes that he has no family and is lonely.


these little girls learning how to be proper and become a princess. They realize in their hearts they already were.


RULES OF PHOTOGRAPHY
rule of thirds-The rule of thirds is a "rule of thumb" or guideline which applies to the process of composing visual images such as designs, films, paintings, and photographs
balancing elements-Balance is a compositional technique in photographythat juxtaposes images within a frame so that the objects are of equal visual weight. 
leading lines-lines that lead to the eye of the subject in the photo.
symmetry and patterns-both sides of the object are the same
viewpoint-the angle from the persons eye view
background-the background is clear and brings more focus.
create depth-creates more focus on the photo.
framing-something in the picture frames the subject.
cropping-the photo is a certain size you want it.
mergers and avoiding them-on object that takes away from the subject.

Aperture- aperture is the unit of measurement that defines the size of the opening in the lens that can be adjusted to control the amount of light reaching the film or digital sensor. 
Shutter speed- The unit of measurement which determines how long shutter remains open as the picture is taken.
ISO-  ISO measures the sensitivity of the image sensor.

4. Things that are acceptable is changing the photo completely and what the person looks like make it look not like them. Things that they can change are just the little things like covering up something little or fixing the quality of the photo. 

5. portraits
environmental- showing what the subject does and the use of environment they are in.
self portrait- a portrait taking the photographer itself.  
casual- someone dong something that they did not suspect a photo being taken. 

6. photographic terms 
Exposure-amount of light per unit square how much light in the photo.
Depth of field-The distance the subject is within and where the objects in the photo become sharp.
Focus Length-depends on what kind of lends your camera has.
