shutter bug
The website that I chose was Lens. I chose this one because it looked really interesting and I really like reading about current events going on and showing whats going on in the world. The intention of this website is to show what the lens in a camera shows than what the outside of the world looks like and whats going on and catch things that need to be known and to be helped. For example of what they used was" picture of the day: Kenya and elsewhere", this shows what is going on in Kenya and the picture that was on there of people that are struggling and needs to be known, but aren't being known and are not making it into the headlines. They write about what is going on in the world and daily updates to things that happened, but the lens part of it captures in-depth photo essays on key issues from all over the world, uncovering stories that aren’t making into the headlines. I think people that look at this think that the lens are capturing what is going on in the world and that this needs to known but its not. I would add this website to my bookmarks because I would want to know what is going on and if anything I could do to help with it and getting it out there. I would recommend this website because it gives out stuff that should be mentioned and I think it gives how really good tips on how to use the lens and how capture those kinds of things in a lens.
I would give this website a 4 out of 5 rating because it gave a lot of info but not much on camera techniques just on what is going on in the lens which is good but the part about getting more tips on how to capture it and use a lens properly and figuring it out.
One photo that I really liked from this website was the one with the daughters and mother, their journey as migrants and what they went through. I think this photo really shows through the lens of what id gang on without showing all of it, and trying to get these things out there. This photo really brought out my emotion because we don't know everything there going through but enough to see through the lens that it is not good. I think these photos really show things through the lens and it is very clear what is going on without explaining it and thinking of something that relates to the pictures. I really liked this website and learning about lens.

self portraits vs. Selfies
1. a selfie is someone taking a picture from a phone and taking a picture of them self.
2. A self portrait of the artist that takes all the pictures and takes it of him self.
3.Yes there is a difference because the selfie is the person taking it from there hand and it not very professional and a self portrait is very professional and its taken from a camera.
4. I prefer a self portrait because the camera is not so close and it is straight and is not at a weird angle and is very professional and shows all of your face clearly unlike selfies.
5. Self portraits are more important than selfies because they can/are send to professional environments and get into businesses.

The websites with the self portraits and selfies and is there a difference and I think YES. I think there is a difference between the two because it professional and the other is not. A selfie is pretty much taken right in time with no thought into it and its just a picture someone is taking on the spot. A self portrait is professional and is sent to people that have business and they put them with their resimay.
A self portrait shows more of your personality than a selfie and because you can see your whole face and it shows what you look like based on what you are wearing and how you look an d how you present your self. Selfies do not do that, they just show your face and mostly where you are thats why people take them. They usually take a picture to show a mountain or something else. I think these are two very different things and show different things.

Phobia Project
A. 1. An extreme or irrational fear of an aversion to something.
B. 2.
1. Pediophobia- Fear of dolls
2. Achluophobia- Fear of darkness
3. Amnesiphobia- Fear of amnesia
4. Isolophobia- Fear of being alone
5. Pnigophobia or Pnigerophobia- Fear of choking of being smothered
6. Thanatophobia or Thantophobia- Fear of death or dying
C. 3.
Pediophobia-I would take it up against a blank wall that is kinda gross and old and a picture of creepy dolls all together. Or have a person in a creepy dress holding a doll tilting her head and smiling creepy.
Achluophobia- a picture of some older person that is tall in a dark place that is really creepy.
Chiraprophobia- someone that does not like being touched and having hands all over them in the photo.
Thanatophobia or Thantophobia- someone laying down on the ground with maybe blood on the concrete.
Isolophobia- Fear of being alone. I would have someone in a room all alone or on a street with no one there .
D. 4.- Some techniques I will use in my photo are probably for Pediophobia is simplicity and make sure the lighting was great with what I wanted in the picture like kinda darkened rustic. For Achluophobia I would do rule of thirds because I would want the photo to get the person in the photo but also see where they are but in the darkness, also having the lighting be good and have it be clear of what the phobia is and that you can see the person clearly. Chiratophobia I would need to get good lighting and have balance of the hands on each side and have the same amount and have the face see clearly and that the face is scared. Also I have 2 extra ones ones, For Thanatophobia or Thantophobia would need good lighting and the rule that I would use would be framing the body maybe have chalk around the body to frame it and it be at rule of thirds to show what happened on the side of the person. Also Isolophobia I would need good lighting and it to be clear that they are alone and the rule that I would use would be point of view maybe of the persons view or something else when I think of to take the picture but make the photo has good lighting and is clear.
